General Terms of Purchase
These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) apply to all tickets and registrations for Gelt Gladiator events (“Events”) operated by Gelt Gladiator Ltd (trading as “Gelt Gladiator”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you understand and agree to these Terms.
1. Authority to Register
1.1 You confirm you have legal authority to complete the Event registration on your own behalf and/or for anyone you are registering (“Registered Parties”).
1.2 If registering a child (under 18) or an incapacitated adult, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian and can enter into these Terms on their behalf.
1.3 These Terms apply equally to all Registered Parties, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims arising from registrations made by you.
2. Payment and Platforms
2.1 Event registrations are processed through Jotform and/or Lets Do This. Payment methods may vary depending on the platform.
2.2 All registrations are subject to availability.
3. Pricing and Fees
3.1 Ticket prices may change at any time. Prices usually increase as the Event date approaches.
3.2 Parking is charged at £5 per car per day. (This may be updated if additional services, such as bag drop, are introduced in future.)
3.3 All prices include VAT where applicable.
4. Refunds, Transfers and Deferrals
4.1 Refunds are available within 48 hours of purchase for unused tickets. After 48 hours, tickets are non-refundable.
4.2 You may transfer or gift your entry to another person, but you must notify us in advance. Any difference in ticket price at the time of transfer must be paid.
4.3 You may defer your ticket to the following year’s Event, provided you contact us before your registered Event takes place.
5. Event Changes and Cancellations
5.1 We may change the Event format, course, distance, or start time if required for safety, operational, or legal reasons. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
5.2 If an Event is postponed or cancelled due to circumstances outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, health emergencies, safety issues, or legal restrictions), you will be offered a transfer or deferral to another Event.
5.3 We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs you incur in relation to postponed, changed, or cancelled Events.
6. Assumption of Risk and Waiver
6.1 Participation in Gelt Gladiator events is physically challenging and carries inherent risks. You and all Registered Parties enter and take part at your own risk.
6.2 By paying for entry, you also agree to the terms of the Event waiver. If you do not accept the waiver, you cannot participate, and no refund will be given.
6.3 You confirm you (and any Registered Parties) are in good physical condition and able to safely take part. You consent to medical treatment and transport in the event of injury.
6.4 You are responsible for any medical costs not otherwise provided free of charge by emergency services.
7. Liability
7.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gelt Gladiator Ltd accepts no liability for:
- personal injury (except where caused by our negligence);
- loss or damage to property;
- travel or accommodation costs;
- indirect or consequential losses.
7.2 Our maximum liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for your ticket.
7.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter where liability cannot be excluded by law.
8. Photography and Media
8.1 Official Event photography is provided by Carlos Reina Photography and made available for purchase via a third-party platform. Links will be shared on our website and social media after the Event.
8.2 By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and you grant us full rights to use such images for marketing, publicity, and promotional purposes without payment.
9. Behaviour and Safety
9.1 You must follow all Event rules, instructions from staff, and safety guidance at all times.
9.2 We may refuse entry, or remove you from the Event, without refund, if you behave in a way that endangers yourself, others, or the Event.
9.3 You are responsible for your personal belongings. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
10. Data Protection
10.1 We collect and process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy (available on our website).
10.2 Your details may be shared with third parties where necessary to deliver the Event (e.g. timing services, photography).
11. Force Majeure
11.1 We are not responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or technical failures.
11.2 In such circumstances, tickets will be transferred or deferred, but no refunds or compensation for additional costs (e.g. travel or accommodation) will be given.

12.1 If you have any questions, complaints, or issues regarding your purchase, please contact us at getmuddy@geltgladiator.com. We aim to respond to all queries within 10 working days.
13. Disputes and Governing Law
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation. If unresolved, disputes will be dealt with in the courts of England and Wales.
14. Severability
14.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue in full effect.
